Unauthenticated debug-operation execution via enabled API

Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025

Active debug code in Ubiquiti UniFi Talk phones allows remote attackers on the management network to invoke operations through the device API. The affected firmware leaves internal debugging functionality enabled and exposes it through API requests instead of disabling it in production builds. Access to the UniFi Talk management network is required; Ubiquiti has not disclosed the individual debug operations or their exact effects.
