Local code execution via newline command injection

Command injection in affected Firefox and Thunderbird releases allows attackers to execute local code through a crafted Copy as cURL command. The Copy as cURL feature fails to escape newline characters embedded in copied request data, allowing a second shell command to enter the generated command text. Exploitation requires a user to copy the malicious request as cURL, paste it into a local command interpreter, and run it; the injected command then executes with that user's privileges.
