CVE-2025-52631Network attack vector

Traffic interception via missing HSTS header

Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026

Missing HSTS protection in HCL AION 2.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to downgrade connections and intercept sensitive traffic. The web interface's responses omit or insecurely configure the Strict-Transport-Security header, leaving clients able to use downgraded transport. Reachability requires low-privileged access and user interaction over an attacker-controlled network path; reported consequences are traffic exposure and service interruption.
