CVE-2025-52612Network attack vector

Spreadsheet formula execution via unsanitized CSV export

Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026

CSV injection in HCL iControl 4.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute injected spreadsheet content through exported CSV files. The Export CSV path insufficiently sanitizes input parameters before reflecting them into generated cells, so formula-like values remain active. Low-privileged access and a separate user's opening of the exported file are required; HCL also characterizes the result as reflected cross-site scripting.
