CVE-2025-52600Network attack vector

Authenticated host command execution via crafted Excel report

Published Dec 26, 2025 · Updated Dec 26, 2025

Improper input validation in Hanwha Vision QNV-C8012 before 2.22.05 allows remote authenticated users to execute host commands. The camera web service accepts a crafted string in the video-analysis function and uses it to create a crafted Excel report with improper exception handling. Exploitation requires authenticated access, submission of the crafted message to the camera, and a user action that exports the Excel report on the host PC.
