Hidden functionality in Copeland E3 Supervisory Control before 2.31F01 allows remote authenticated users to enable OS remote access. A hidden application-services API turns on the installed SSH and Shellinabox services even though both are disabled by default. Application-services administrator access is required, after which the exposed services provide a route to the underlying operating system.
