CVE-2025-52545Network attack vector

Privilege escalation via users-info API credential disclosure

Published Sep 2, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025

Credential exposure in Copeland E3 Supervisory Control before 2.31F01 allows remote authenticated users to read usernames and password hashes. The RCI users-info API returns the complete application-service credential list, including password hashes, instead of limiting sensitive fields. Low-privileged network access to the RCI service is required; the exposed hashes disclose account credentials and enable further application-service access.
