CVE-2025-52544Network attack vector

Unauthenticated arbitrary file read via path traversal

Published Sep 2, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025

Path traversal in Copeland E3 Supervisory Control before 2.31F01 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary device files via floor-plan uploads. The floor-plan upload handler insufficiently validates crafted path data, allowing a submitted floor plan to traverse beyond its intended storage location. No authentication or user interaction is required; the demonstrated consequence is filesystem disclosure rather than code execution.
