CVE-2025-52539

AXI data exposure and corruption via buffer overflow

Published Nov 24, 2025 · Updated Nov 24, 2025

A buffer overflow in AMD Xilinx Runtime before 2025.1 allows local users to read or corrupt data transferred through the AXI interface. AMD locates the flaw in the user-space XOCL driver family but has not published the exact buffer or the operation that overruns it. Local access to a host running an affected XRT driver is required; a local process can expose or corrupt accelerator data and interrupt availability.
