Database read and alteration via unsanitized Category
Published May 27, 2025 · Updated May 27, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul News Portal Project 4.1 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data via a crafted Category value. The /admin/add-category.php handler places the POST category value directly into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. No login or authorization is required, and the published time-based blind payload demonstrates attacker-controlled database query execution.
