Reflected script execution via unencoded TokenReplace output
Published Jun 21, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
Reflected XSS in DNN Platform 6.0.0 through 10.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted URL. BaseCustomTokenReplace exposed property-source results without default HTML encoding, allowing affected SkinObjects to place URL-derived token values into HTML unchanged. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted URL; injected script runs in the site's origin and can read browser-accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
