Administrator-context script execution via stored glossary term
Published Mar 2, 2026 · Updated Mar 2, 2026
Stored XSS in Chamilo LMS before 1.11.30 allows remote authenticated users with the Teacher role to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The glossary term input accepts event-handler attributes, stores the term, and later embeds it in an inline confirmation handler on the course-resource log page. An administrator must view the affected log; the script then runs in that administrator's browser context and can act with the session's privileges.
