Database access via unvalidated report dates
Published May 27, 2025 · Updated May 27, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Company Visitors Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database via crafted dates. The bwdates-reports-details.php handler inserts the fromdate value directly into a SQL query without validation, allowing injected SQL expressions to alter the query. No login is required; the published time-based payload triggers MySQL SLEEP, demonstrating a remotely observable database timing channel.
