Key extraction via observable timing discrepancy
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
Observable timing discrepancy in Gallagher HBUS I/O Devices allows physically proximate attackers to extract device-specific keys. Gallagher has not published the cryptographic operation or comparison whose input-dependent execution time exposes the key material. Physical access to an HBUS device and high attack complexity are required; extracted keys can compromise that device and weaken security elsewhere at the site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=9.00
