CVE-2025-52449

Remote code execution via deceptive upload filenames

Published Jul 25, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Dangerous file upload in Salesforce Tableau Server before 2023.3.19, before 2024.2.12, and before 2025.1.3 allows remote attackers to execute code. The Extensible Protocol Service accepts dangerous file types under deceptive filenames and allows their contents to run. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and user interaction, after which the uploaded code runs in the Extensible Protocol Service context.
