Login denial via receiving-port account lockout
Published Jul 11, 2025 · Updated Jul 11, 2025
Account-lockout denial of service in Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC iQ-F Series allows remote attackers to block legitimate logins on all versions. Repeated incorrect-password requests cause the controller to lock communications on the receiving port until its lockout interval expires or it is reset. No authentication is required, and the bounded consequence is temporary loss of legitimate login access on the targeted port.
