Administrative access via unrestricted password guessing
Published Aug 13, 2025 · Updated Aug 19, 2025
Improper login-attempt restriction in Soosyze CMS 2.0 allows remote attackers to obtain administrative access via password guessing. The /user/login handler accepts repeated email-and-password POST submissions without rate limiting or account lockout, and its response distinguishes a successful login. No prior authentication or user interaction is required, but successful access depends on guessing valid administrative credentials.
