Database disclosure and modification via search-term SQL injection

SQL injection in Saurus CMS Community Edition allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through its public search interface. The prepareSearchQuery() method in FulltextSearch.class.php interpolates the search_word value directly into SQL LIKE clauses without escaping or parameterization. No authentication or user interaction is required; crafted search terms expose or modify data available to the application's database account.
