CVE-2025-52378Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator-session script execution via unsanitized device aliases

Published Jul 15, 2025 · Updated Jul 15, 2025

Stored XSS in Nexxt Solutions NCM-X1800 Mesh Router firmware UV1.2.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in admin sessions. The /web/um_device_set_aliasname endpoint stores the DEVICE_ALIAS value without sanitizing HTML or JavaScript, and the device management page renders it without output encoding. An administrator must later view that page; the script then executes in the administrator's browser context and can access session data or perform router actions.
