CVE-2025-52351Network attack vector

Account compromise via plaintext onboarding passwords

Published Aug 21, 2025 · Updated Aug 21, 2025

Cleartext credential exposure in AiKaan IoT Platform 3.25.0325-5-g2e9c59796 and earlier allows attackers to obtain initial passwords. The onboarding flow emails each generated password and embeds the same secret in an activation URL query parameter instead of using a single-use token. Access to an email, browser history, proxy or server log, referrer record, or cached link exposes the credential and enables account compromise.
