Arbitrary code execution via Content-Length stack overflow
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Stack overflow in download.cgi in StarCharge Artemis AC Charger 7-22 kW 1.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. The cgiMain function uses the Content-Length header value as a buffer size, so oversized values overrun the stack buffer. Access requires low privileges from an adjacent network, and successful exploitation runs code on the charger.
