Stored script execution via unsanitized profile input
Published Jul 30, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Stored XSS in GetProjectsIdea Create School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser. The my_profile_update_form1.php handler stores profile-field input, including the Name With Initials value, without sanitization; get_student_profile.php and dashboard1.php later render it without neutralizing executable markup. A student account can plant the payload, but execution requires another user to view the stored profile or dashboard, exposing that user's session and page actions to the script.
