Unauthenticated file disclosure via RSS feed XXE
Published Jul 18, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
XXE in the RSSReader component of Agorum core open 11.9.1.3-1857 allows remote attackers to read server files through a crafted feed. The unauthenticated RSSReader.jsp feed parameter fetches attacker-controlled XML, and the parser resolves external DTD and file entities. No account is required; the server sends file contents, such as /etc/hostname, to an attacker-controlled HTTP endpoint.
