Stored XSS via unescaped imported event titles
Published Aug 3, 2025 · Updated Aug 4, 2025
Stored XSS in XWiki Contrib Mocca Calendar before 2.15 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in viewers' browsers. Calendar import persists an event title without proper escaping, and the event page renders the resulting title as executable HTML and JavaScript. Page-view rights permit the import, while exploitation occurs when another user opens the event page, exposing that viewer's session to attacker-supplied browser code.
