Stored XSS via unescaped calendar colors
Published Aug 3, 2025 · Updated Aug 7, 2025
Stored XSS in XWiki Contrib Mocca Calendar Application before 2.15 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through color fields. The event modal renders attacker-controlled background or text color values without escaping, so stored markup executes when the event opens. Any user able to create or edit an event can plant the payload, but execution requires a calendar viewer to open the affected event modal.
