Authenticated remote code execution via mismatched upload fields
Published Aug 25, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Arbitrary file upload in SMEWebify WebErpMesv2 1.17 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through factory settings. FactoryController validates nonexistent image and file request fields but moves picture and cgv_file inputs into web-accessible paths without applying those MIME checks. Access to the factory settings upload forms is required; a PHP payload stored under the web root executes when requested directly.
