Password recovery via default JWT authentication bypass
Published Jul 1, 2025 · Updated Jul 2, 2025
Authentication bypass in linjiashop 0.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to retrieve password hashes and salts through the account API. The /prod-api/account/info endpoint accepts a default-generated JWT as authenticated and returns the stored encrypted password and salt. No account or user interaction is required; disclosure enables offline brute-force recovery of the underlying password.
