Database disclosure via unsanitized inventory dimension keys
Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025
SQL injection in Frappe ERPNext 15.57.5 allows remote attackers to read database contents through inventory_dimensions_dict. The get_stock_balance() function in erpnext/stock/utils.py interpolates each attacker-controlled dictionary key directly as a SQL column name while parameterizing only its value. Network access without authentication is sufficient, and the bounded consequence is database information disclosure rather than modification or service interruption.
