Cashier credential disclosure via unauthenticated endpoint
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
Information disclosure in Aptsys gemscms backend through 2025-05-28 allows remote attackers to obtain cashier credentials. The unauthenticated /srvs/membersrv/getCashiers endpoint returns names, email addresses, usernames, and MD5 password hashes without an access check. Public network access to the endpoint exposes account data and enables password recovery and unauthorized POS or backend logins.
