Script execution via unsanitized search results
Published Jul 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 30, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Andisearch 0.5.249 and earlier allows attackers to execute script through crafted search input. The search-results page renders the submitted query without neutralizing HTML event-handler markup, so the browser executes embedded JavaScript. Exploitation requires a user to submit attacker-controlled search text; the script runs in the Andisearch page context and can read or alter data available there.
