CVE-2025-51651Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via fixed directory encryption key

Published Jul 14, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025

Arbitrary file download in McCms 2.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to read server files through a crafted Backups.php GET request. The Backups.php zip action decrypts the user-controlled dir parameter with a fixed key, checks only that the resulting path is nonempty, and directly archives that directory for download. Backend access and user interaction are required; successful exploitation exposes configuration, database, and other files readable by the web service.
