Authenticated code execution via pre-validation template write
Published Jul 14, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025
Arbitrary file upload in FoxCMS 1.2.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a remote template URL. PicManager.php downloads remote content with file_put_contents before validationSuffix rejects a dangerous suffix. Access requires a background-management session, and exploitation leaves the PHP payload in the web-accessible uploads path.
