Authenticated file disclosure via Download path traversal
Published May 25, 2025 · Updated May 28, 2025
Path traversal in H3C SecCenter SMP through 20250513 allows remote authenticated users to read files via a crafted Name parameter. The Download function at /cfgFile/1/download constructs a pathname from Name without neutralizing traversal elements, allowing resolution outside the intended directory. Low-privileged network access is required, and the demonstrated consequence is local-file disclosure without reported modification or interruption.
