Employee email disclosure via unchecked reset token
Published Sep 8, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
Email enumeration in PrestaShop before 8.2.3 allows remote attackers to expose back-office employee email addresses through password reset requests. AdminLoginController loads an attacker-supplied id_employee and assigns the corresponding email to the reset template without first matching reset_token to the employee's stored token. Exploitation requires knowledge or discovery of the back-office URL; disclosure is limited to employee email addresses.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
