Unauthorized database access via profile update injection
Published Jan 12, 2026 · Updated Jan 12, 2026
SQL injection in Online Exam System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands through a profile-update POST request. The /exam/user/profile.php handler incorporates rname, rcollage, rnumber, rgender, and rpassword values into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax. The endpoint requires no authentication, and successful injection grants unauthorized database read and write access without reported availability impact.
