Unauthenticated database metadata disclosure via unguarded monitor endpoint
Published Aug 6, 2025 · Updated Aug 11, 2025
Incorrect access control in Sage DPW 2024_12_004 and earlier allows remote attackers to view Database Monitor data without authentication. The WService endpoint at /dpw/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=v8pweb/a-9065.htm returns the monitor without checking for a session cookie. A crafted network request exposes table and index names, row counts, live sessions, query statistics, and internal object identifiers.
