Remote code execution via unsafe template evaluation
Published Jul 22, 2025 · Updated Jul 22, 2025
Code injection in TransformerOptimus SuperAGI 0.0.14 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary Python code through agent template configurations. AgentTemplate.eval_agent_config passes goal, constraints, and instruction values directly to Python eval() without validation when templates are loaded or updated. A malicious marketplace template or direct API update is sufficient, and code runs with the SuperAGI service's permissions.
