CVE-2025-5145Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Shell command execution via unquoted CGI parameter

Published May 25, 2025 · Updated Jul 11, 2025

Command injection in eight Netcore router and access-point models at version 20250508 allows remote attackers to execute shell commands. The CGI query-string parser in acbackup and related shell scripts URL-decodes parameter names and passes an unquoted name into eval, so a decoded newline introduces a second shell command. Access to the web-management HTTP interface is required; executed commands can create or delete files, reboot the appliance, or control its operating environment.
