Stored XSS via unescaped canned message content
Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 22, 2025
Stored XSS in Live Helper Chat 4.60 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through personal canned messages. Personal canned-message content is stored without adequate neutralization and later inserted into chat-window output without escaping, so event-handler markup executes when rendered. Operator access is required to save the payload, and execution occurs when an operator opens the canned-message interface to send the saved message.
