CVE-2025-51385Public exploit

Web-service crash via overlong id parameter

Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated Jul 31, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DI-8200 16.07.26A1 allows remote authenticated users to crash its web service via a long id parameter. The yyxz_dlink_asp function accepts an overlong id value without bounding it to the capacity of its destination stack buffer. Access requires low privileges from an adjacent network, and the demonstrated consequence is a web-service crash rather than code execution.
