Database disclosure via double-decoded tag parameter
Published May 23, 2025 · Updated May 23, 2025
SQL injection in emlog Pro 2.5.11 allows remote attackers to read and alter database data through the unauthenticated article-list API. In api_controller.php, tag is escaped before URL decoding, so double encoding introduces SQL syntax after the escaping step and injects it into the article query. No login is required; the published proof of concept extracts database metadata, while broader effects depend on database permissions.
