Memory corruption via unbounded TYPE argument copy

Buffer overflow in Freefloat FTP Server 1.0 allows remote attackers to corrupt process memory through a crafted FTP TYPE command. The TYPE command handler copies an attacker-controlled argument into a fixed-size memory buffer without enforcing its bounds. No prior authentication or user interaction is required; corrupting the buffer can crash the service or redirect its execution flow.
