Browser JavaScript execution via reflected GET parameters
Published Aug 27, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Reflected XSS in diskover-web Community Edition 2.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted URL. The selectindices.php, search.php, view.php, d3_data_bar_mtime_searchresults.php, and d3_data_search.php endpoints insert GET values into HTML without sanitization. A victim must open the crafted URL; the reflected script then executes in that browser's diskover-web security context.
