Unauthenticated SQL injection via tmpl_id parameter
Published Aug 27, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
SQL injection in AbanteCart 1.4.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands through tmpl_id on the extension/generic route. The route incorporates the URI-supplied tmpl_id value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling error-based, time-based, and UNION payloads. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful requests can read or alter store database content and induce database delays.
