Insecure data backup in Lotus Cars Android app 1.2.8 allows local users to read application data through an ADB backup. The app manifest sets android:allowBackup to true, permitting Android's backup facility to copy the app's stored data rather than excluding it. Exploitation requires ADB access to a rooted or debug-enabled device and exposes stored user data; no server interaction is involved.
