Cross-vendor sticker changes via unchecked company identifier
Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
IDOR in CS-Cart 4.18.3 allows remote authenticated users to alter other vendors' sticker status through a crafted request. The vendor.php sticker-status endpoint trusts the request's company_id when changing the specified company's sticker state instead of verifying that the caller controls that company. Any authenticated vendor or lower-privileged user can change another vendor's sticker setting, altering that vendor's displayed branding.
