Authenticated code execution via unchecked page parameter
Published May 22, 2025 · Updated May 22, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda FH451 1.0.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted page parameter. The webExcptypemanFilter handler accepts page without an effective length check before writing it to a fixed-size stack buffer. Access to the router's web management interface is required, and successful exploitation can execute code or crash the device.
