Database access via unsanitized Category parameter
Published May 22, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
SQL injection in Online Shopping Portal 1.0 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data through a crafted Category POST value. The /admin/subcategory.php handler inserts Category directly into a SQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind queries. No login is required, and successful exploitation permits unauthorized database reads, changes, deletion, or service interruption within the database account's privileges.
