Improper access control in AZIOT 2MP Full HD Smart Wi-Fi CCTV Home Security Camera firmware 1.00.02 allows local users to gain a root shell. The boot process permits UART-console authentication bypass because the bootloader and init scripts are insecurely configured, after which the filesystem exposes plaintext Wi-Fi and ONVIF credentials. Physical access to the UART interface or access to an extracted firmware image is required, and successful exploitation grants full device control and discloses reusable service credentials.
