Unauthenticated code execution via template-file editor
Published Aug 7, 2025 · Updated Aug 8, 2025
Code injection in FoxCMS 1.2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through its template-file editing endpoint. The public record identifies admin/template_file/editFile.html but does not disclose the input field, sink, or faulty operation that permits injection. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient, and injected code runs in the server-side FoxCMS context.
